Miley Cyrus has been stripped of a Grammy nomination.
Miley’s hit “The Climb” was shortlisted for best song written for a motion picture, but it turns out the song was not specifically written for Hannah Montana: The Movie. The Grammy Academy says that it goes “to great lengths to review submissions through a meticulous and rigorous screening process.”
There is good news though. The nomination has now been given to Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O for her song “All Is Love,” which was featured in Where The Wild Things Are.
The Grammys will be handed out January 31st.
