MMVA AfterMath: Watch It After The Show, Online Only!

I dunno if you guys have heard, but at this year’s MMVAs, the show does NOT end at 11pm. Oh no. We know you couldn’t possibly be satisfied with ‘just’ 120 minutes of face-melting performances, so we’ve recruited a coupla Canadian superstars to keep the show going after the TV broadcast is over.
Here’s everything you need to know - and make sure you pay attention, cause this isn’t your average AfterMath!
1. On Sunday at 11pm ET, get your hiney over to the MMVA show page and plant it there to watch the excitement unfold LIVE in front of your eyes. AfterMath will NOT air on television - you’ll only be able to watch it online!
2. MMVA nominees Bedouin Soundclash & friends from Alexisonfire, The Saint Alvia Cartel and The Arkells will be taking the stage at MuchMusic HQ. They’ll be covering classic punk, ska and rock tracks, as well as playing a few Bedouin originals.
I heard the guys rehearsing earlier and recognized a few classic rock hits - it sounded awesome. I kinda have the feeling you’ll agree with me when you see it tomorrow night!

so i have to get to my mom’s for about 1130am to watch sytycd for however long then dance crew more sytycd and the awards and aftermath, that’s going to be a long day over there, hope she doesn’t kick me out

It’s going to be shitty quality, it should be on tv so it dosnt suck balls.

The stream for Aftermath is already active on AXS. The quality is pretty good bitrate wise (in fact those people with just 768k will have problems playing it, 1M people might have problems to if someone else is the house doing stuff on the network at the same time), but they have a feed of the US Open from NBC on stretched since the encoder is running for a 16:9 aspect ratio. They should just stream the awards too online instead of having the encoding software just sit there for no reason for several hours. They had no problem doing it previous years, so they should have done it this year too. Hopefully they’ll stream the entire show live next year.

Scratch that, it looks like they’re streaming TSN instead who’s using NBC’s feed. Just flip the channel to MuchMusic for us!

Scratch that too, it looks like TSN.ca is sharing the stream to show the US Open which is slated to end at 9. How about you turn on Much for us then.

Well now I find out that its only online lol I watched the whole show and I was waiting patiently for like 5 minutes n then it replays the awards..I was like what??…I guess I’ll just have to watch it tonight online…
