MMVA08: Being Akon’s Body Double

So I was just sitting in the parking lot tanning with Jenn and watching some rehearsals, waiting for Kardinal and Akon to rehearse their performance. I was saddened to find out that Akon was not here today and his wrangler was going to have to “stand in”. The wrangler was nowhere to be found and they needed someone to step in. I was looking around trying to find someone to suggest when I thought, “why not me?”

I stepped in, grabbed the mic and performed as Akon. I immediately picked up the choreography and was jamming, singing and dancing with Kardinal and his crew. By the second rehearsal I was in sync with Akon’s moves and fulfilled the quintessential Canadian dream: ROCKING OUT AT THE MMVAs!!!1
