MMVA08: Girlicious Rehearse (Fiercely)!

As you may or may not know, the fate of Girlicious TV show recaps rested in my hands a few months ago. As such, I would find myself watching each episode a minimum of two times per week - sometimes more. If I went over to my BFF’s house and she wanted to watch her PVR’d episode from last week? Eff yes, I watched it again. Point is, I was emotionally invested in these trollops, no matter how much I may have sassed them out in the blogs. The truth is, you guys, I kind of like Girlicious. Ok fine - I love those fierce bitches.
So YES, I was chomping at the bit to photograph them today. Flying hair? Saucy choreography? 100% cheek in both attitude and attire? Um, yes. This is campy reality TV coming to life. This is my guilty pleasure bread ‘n buttah before my very eyes.
And OMFG, ROBIN ANTIN was there TOO. Not just standing on the sidelines, lips a-pouty. No, she was right in the battlefield, choreographing their every move. Watching, critiquing, “less ‘boom’, more ‘BAM!’” And those hott trannys (I say that in the best way) were turning it out. I’m telling you, their performance is gonna be nothing but top-notch entertainment tomorrow night - dudes will be wiping their chin off the floor, and girls will be buying a one-way ticket to the gym. Sheeeit.
PS: I’ll be interviewing them on Monday, so if you have any suggestions for questions (not that I don’t have it all planned out as of last month, but whatever), comment below!

Oh my god, I was obsessed with the show too, my friends can’t believe it but I listen to the only 2 songs they’ve released so far religiously.
Ask them when they’re releasing a full length album!!! You probably already know, or are planning on that one already though.

I never watched the first season of the show and actually gringed at those who did, but I got addicted this year and I’m a guy, but I’m not ashamed to admit that not only are they hot, but they’re decent singers!
1) Are you enjoying Toronto/Canada? (as they seem to be doing just as good, if not better in Canada)
2) Is “Leave You Alone” on your album and is the release date July 1st in Canada too?

Do you think your better than the Pussycat Dolls or do you think you will ever be better than the Pusscat Dolls. and was it the Pussycat Dolls that made you audition for Girlicious, or did you auidtion the first season to become te next doll?

OMG. Those girls could move. Damn, never seen anything that hott before. The blonde is a bombshell and the back on the girl in the bright yellow shirt and grey shorts had the guys where I was standing mesmerized. As typical as it sounds, we were just mesmerized by the girls - those two in particular. Crazy awesome and we’re coming for the show too.

You should ask them, what producers are producing the album songs, the guest, and if any of the girls co-wrote any of their songs, and like the black eyed peas, on their albums it tells you the vocals on each song…wil girlicious’s album be like that as well on each song?(credits on the album) thanks a bunch

Tell them that
You don’t need to display panties to be famous!
You don’t have to put your body on display to be popular!
You may be famous & even popular at the moment, but in my opinion you are unhealthy role models for younger girls who are trying to decide what’s important. You must know that little girls are watching you & are influenced by what you’re doing! They think that to look beautiful & be popular, they have to show all that skin and wear name brand clothes. There is more to beauty than boobs and makeup but with role models like yourselves, they don’t even get a chance to figure out what true beauty is about & they don’t really get to be carefree kids anymore.
My little sisster is only 11 years old & thinks she needs to create an image like yours in order to fit in. What she’s too young to understand is that you’re a manufactured image - you have managers, promoters, handlers and most imporantly SECURITY when you’re out in publc. My sister & her friends have none of this. If you want to be truly popular and even more famous, perhaps you could consider doing some education pieces geared to young kids to help them understand that there’s a big difference between entertainment & reality.

As an observer, there have been both positive and negative comments about the group and music videos for Girlicious. I was just wondering if they’ve seen these comments (one being that some think that for the music video “Stupid Sh*t”, it seems inappropriate for the girls to be shedding clothes and dancing around in their panties in the middle of the street when their fans are young teenagers) and how they deal with both positive and negative critism.
