MMVA08: Jacob Hoggard Implores You To Vote For People’s Choice!

Real time 5:59pm and we’re about to go soundcheck. Backstage at MuchMusic currently buzzing. Everyone full of energy and preparing for the big night tomorrow. I bury my anxiety under a handful of chicken quesadillas from catering.

Sitting down and being informed that we risk losing People’s Choice to the impenetrable force that is Simple Plan is heartbreaking at best. I know it is all speculation and that our true fate rests in the hands of our fans. We’re excited to get up one more (last) time and perform our cute little butts off and even more excited to kickstart our tour.

Everyone at MuchMusic as always, has been stellar and makes the experience that Much More™ exciting. We have been preparing and awaiting this day with Much™ anticipation and can’t wait to finally hit the stage!
