MMVA08: Our Beloved VJs

June 16th, 2008

Last night was a blast, but in all the commotion - the rain, the tornado warnings, and the stampede of celebrities - there was one group of people we forgot to highlight: our hardworking, always beautiful and stylish VJs who asked all the right questions and always had a helpful, comforting umbrella on hand.

In fact, they were so on-the-move for the entire show that our photographers could barely snap their pics… but the key word here is “barely.” Here are a few choice shots:

Sarah looked beautiful, Leah did as well. Tim looked AMAZING in his suit-ish lol. Hannas dress was pretty, great colour on her, to bad she got soaked at one point lol =[

Agreed. Everyone did a terrific job.

BUT

I think there is a group of people who got HUGELY (hugely?) over looked. Even the fans out side got props but without these people NO ONE would have had a good time.

SUPERUBERPOOPER props to all the camera men/women and show/carpet co-ordinators & everyone else involved who guided everyone to their desitination and made sure everything was running smoothly.

I have so much respect for you and I don’t think you get enough cred for what you do. GOOD JOB!

PS. CAN WE HAVE SPEAKER’S CORNER BACK??? Thanks Ted Rogers but just because you have butt loads of money doesn’t mean you can buy Toronto out building by building, business by business. Well actually… yeah you can, but leave Speaker’s Corner out of it!

I stood in line for 6 hours to get a wristband and then on the day of the MMVAS I stood in line for 7 hours and 30 mins before the show started my friend wanted to leave because of the rain. We left and I still am so dissapointed! <:/ I was looking foward to see the show because I was at the main stage. Also we were right at the front.

OMG im definitly coming next year RAIN or SHINE or even if there is a Hurricane or Tornado. Im so sad i missed the MMVAS!! and Im so sad I missed seeing my Beautiful Matte Babel :’(

hey man i loved the mmva is was the best n hedley was dressed a litle wierd but he still looked good n omg new kids on the block are so HOT!!!!!
