MMVA08: Simple Plan Win Favourite Canadian Group

The unstoppable group that is Simple Plan has just once again won the award for People’s Choice: Favourite Canadian Group!

Quick and to-the-point, the boys ran onto stage, didn’t slip, and thanked their fans.

WOW! Just wanted to thank everyone for voting for us in the People’s Choice Favourite Group category!! We are very fortunate to have the best fans in the world. Every single time we have been nominated, we have won the award. And that is all because of you! So thanks to all of you and hope you enjoyed the show tonight!

Simple Plan only did because their fans are a group of 12 year old girls who had the time to actually vote for them.

so illScarlett might not have one but only because their fans don’t waste their lives on the computer, they go to their shows. Illscarletts played Toronto at least 6 times this year.

could simple plan even possibly sell tickets for that many shows? I think not. so dont worry, ill scarlett, you CERTAINLY are the favourite Canadian group. Lets go smoke a blunt bitchesss.

NICE STEREOTYPING! They actually have a very diverse fanbase age wise. Me, i’m 19. and their biggest fan is actually a 43 year old man. They won the award because they DO have amazing, loyal fans.

Actually, they COULD. but they don’t play that many times in one place in one year because they’re too busy TOURING around the WORLD. if they wanted to, they could EASILY sell out multiple shows in toronto. if they couldn’t, they wouldn’t be playing the molson ampitheater in august. they would be playing some dinky little club.

illscarlett aren’t even that good, they were just thrown in there to fill in nomination spot.
