Seriously dudes, chickas. The questions about how to get ‘tickets’ to the 2008 MMVAs stop here and now! Cause getting into the MMVAs is super simple! Four ways, with more to come! Yeesh.
The Old-Fashioned Way: Get In Line: Wake-up call? If you can crawl out of bed early just one Saturday in your life, make it June 7 @ 8am ET. Head to Much HQ (that’s 299 Queen Street West, folks) and join the ranks of wristband hopefuls waiting in line. Bring a canned food item (for the Daily Bread Food Bank) and your photo ID (you must be 14 or older!), and prepare your wrist for a week’s worth of wear until the big night!

i turned 14 yesterday , and for my birthday , my mom is taking me to the
MMVA’S but i don’t have a photo ID .. can i just bring my health card
and birth certificate ? or do i need to have a photo ID ? this would be
an amazing present and i wouldn’t wanna miss a chance like this because

Does anyone know if there is another way of getting wristbands later? I’m going to Toronto the weekend of the MMVA’s and also won’t be able to get wristbands on the 7th because we don’t get there until the 13th. The radio contests can’t help me either because I am from a very very small town.I would really love to go to the show. Thanks!

Hey, im ashley i was wondering the only way you can get wristbands is by lineing up in toromto , you dont sell them or nothing , because me and my friend wanted to go really badly and we wont be going down if we go until that night and we were wondering if there is any other way of gettin them because we live 9 hours from toronto , and we can just go there and line up , so if you have ANY possible other way of gettin them , please tell me , well do anything to get them

HEY. I AM IN HIGHSCHOOL AND I LOST MY STUDENT ID. I DONT HAVE A PASSPORT BECAUSE MY NAME ON MY MOMS PASSPORT FELL OFF. MY HEALTH CARD IS THE RED AND WHITE ONE WITH NO PICTURE. i’m confused about the red carpet/ stage scenario?
so the wristbands are to get into the stage area, I know. But if you get a wrist band, can you be there for the actual red carpet part, then go to the enclosed stage for the presenting part.
Also, why are there 2 stages? how do we know who is presenting at what stage?
Please please someone answer me.

Its impossible to be at the red carpet AND the stage areas. you have to choose one. if u have a wristband u can get into the stage area. but yeah its really crowded and theres no way you can walk around and go to different sections during the show. If u get a wristband go to the stage areas for sure!last year there were THREE stages. if ur into hedley and those rockish types of bands they perform at one stage…and then Rhianna and Sean Kingstong, Akon..etc will be at the main stage. So the performers are grouped into music categories.
Now I have a question: lol. Do u get to choose what wristband u want (like pit, lot..etc)?? I went last year but I got wristbands from a producer over mail..so I dont know how it works.

Just wondering if we get to choose which stage our wristband can be used for. I really want to see Girlicious perform, but I’m worried that whoever is handing out the wristbands won’t know or it won’t be determined yet. Also we just bring one canned good per person right?

Im also 14 and attending the MMVAS for photo ID im using my student card but if none of u people have one just bring ur passport…Hope this helps some of you. :D…….P.S not a 100% sure that a passport will work but if someone knows comment baq!

wow just got back a little while ago from waiting in line over ngiht for a wrist band and now i finally have one. They are shiney red or green dependingon which stage you choose to go to. But it was a really long night and people in toronto are crazy party poeple lol. Lots of fun but glad I dont have to do it again until next year!

I didnt know that the line-up date was today, I waited two years ago overnight and then had the wristbands taken away by my mother, and last year there was to much going on…can you still see alot from the streets, and i was told on the day of they hand out the extras…

I just came back from the much music building after waiting in line for 6HOURS! i am not joking 6 hours i got there at 7 and waited until 12:00noon before i got into the building only to find out u needed PHOTO ID! i am fourteen years old and have no photo id. i brought my birth certificate social insurance card and health card but they still wouldnt give me a wristband. the lady there is completely heartless she knows how long every1z been waiting there but she just turns us down like we’re garbage DONT WASTE UR LIFE GETING THE WRISTBANDS AT THE BUILDING!!!! i stood in line for 6 hours in the blazing sun and that heartless old bitch wouldnt give me and my freinds wristbands
