Mo’ Money, No Problems For Britney Spears

According to Brit’s father, Jamie Spears, he wants the popstar to be a free woman in every sense of the word when she marries Jason Trawick on Valentine’s Day. After Britney Spears suffered a public breakdown in 2008, she lost control of her earnings and business dealings to a board of conservators at her father’s request.

But now her father is requesting that a judge lift the restrictions and give Ms. Spears control of her personal finances again. Her business income will remain with her board of conservators, but her personal income will be hers to control.

A source close to the popstar told MTV U.K. “Britney now recognizes that if her father hadn’t stepped in and taken the action that he had, well… Britney is now crediting Jamie for saving her life.”

Slowly but surely, Britney is regaining control of her life and we couldn’t be happier for the singer!
