MOD Hot Topic: Free Money

Did you guys know that over 1 million Canadians have dormant bank accounts? These are accounts that haven’t been touched for 10 years! The Bank of Canada has $320 million just sitting in these accounts waiting for people to claim their cash.

Most of the accounts have under $500 in them but at least one has over $430,000.00. Think you or someone you know has a bank account you may have forgotten about? Go here and type in your name to find out!

It’s pretty amazing how far back things can go. Imagine how much money could be invested in your whole families generation. Now that’s something i’d like to find out.

its kinda freaky….but its so cool at the same time to see how your family ( back in the day ) saved money for there grandchildren or whatever… awesome!
