* Scientists say that January 18 is the most depressing day of the year. How depressing would it be to make a study trying to determine the most depressing day? Damn depressing.

* Avatar has become the top-grossing IMAX film of all time. In other predictable news, it is expected to get dark tonight, followed by sunlight in the morning.

* The Brit Award nominees have been announced and Lily Allen and Robbie Williams have both been nominated. Let the drunken acceptance speeches commence!

* Courtney Love wants to make a new Hole record, but without Melissa Auf Der Maur and Eric Erlandson. So really, just Courtney Love wants to make a new record.

* Check out pics of the almost-complete Wizardly World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios in Orlando. I have seen the real thing – from behind a fence – and it looks awesome!
