More Mysterious Dates – The White Stripes

This was recently posted on the White Stripes‘ website. Turns out that the date in Roman numerals (October 15, 2007), is in reference to a pair of cameras.

The band will start selling them online October 15, and the first 333 to order both cameras get a “mystery gift””. There will be a “Meg” Diana camera with ringflash, and a “Jack” Holga with fisheye. This is all in partnership with the DIY approach filled Lomography.

The whole thing seems like a bit of a marketing ploy. That being said, I am definitely considering getting the camera set. It’s two of my favourite things in one! It all depends on what the price will end up being for me.

P.S.:My thoughts on the Meg sex tape? It’s not her.
