After travelling to India to film a documentary for the BBC on child labour and human trafficking, Lindsay Lohan lied and said that in one day she saved 40 children from a sweatshop. In addition to making false statements, Lindsay also broke the country’s rules by working for the BBC in India after only being granted a tourist visa.
Officials in India are now reviewing the case and deciding whether to ban her from the country. Poor Lilo. Even when she tries to get a legitimate job (sorry Paris Hilton, I don’t count club appearances as ‘working’) things get messed up.
How badly do you have to peeve off the officials in a country of 1 billion people to make them take the time to actually ban you from future entrance? I’m sure India has more important issues at stake. I’m also sure that right now Lindsay is trying to remember what she did at a nightclub named ‘India’ that would get her banned.
