Morgan Cameron Ross goes retro in video for Hey There Darlin

Morgan Cameron Ross enlisted the help of model and Elle Canada’s June cover girl Tara Gill for his latest music video Hey There Darlin, using a 1960s MadMen theme as the inspiration for the video’s look. Director Jessica Edwards helped Cameron capture the right vibe of the song, shooting the video in a single day at The Roxton in Toronto.

Edwards explains that she wanted to feature Morgan’s expressive performance in the video, telling MUCH “One of my favourite things about Moran is his performance. His face is so animated and he uses his full body to express himself, a unique quality that I believe separates him from other performers. I think this video gives audiences a glimpse of that.” Working as a team, Cameron and Edwards created a video with “the concept to create a scene of ‘boy meets girl’ in a cafe while patrons move along to their chemistry.”

The track is off Morgan’s self-titled album, which was released in May. Check out Morgan Cameron Ross in Hey There Darlin below.
