Morrissey Bashes Canada, Canada Doesn’t Care

Morrissey is once again bashing Canada and refusing to come here because of the seal hunt. (Disclaimer: I actually like his music, but I LOVE Canada).

I agree with him on the seal hunt, it seems cruel and pointless, and his position on its purpose as a job opportunity is something I couldn’t agree more with. But aside from all that, Morrissey is on his own. How could he really say he wouldn’t come to Canada based on this one thing?

I don’t even know any seal hunters, and if I did I would do my best to make them get other jobs. But to avoid an entire country is ridiculous. He admits that other countries commit violent acts as well, and I’m pretty sure he has called two very brutal countries home. For him to criticize Canada makes me a little sick. Anyway, to Morrissey, I would just like to say: Canada doesn’t even care about you, so I don’t think your little protest is working!

I love how people slam others and blame a whole country…. just a little information from people who live out in eastern Canada and the actual TRUTH… wow something new… The ones that kill the baby seals are guess what…. NOT CANADIAN!!!!!!!!! Most are Europeans and Americans… go figure. The Canadians that DO hunt the seals, well… the seals are adult and they use them for food and a way of life…. in this modern day and age, I seriously cannot believe how close minded and neanderthal everyone still is… get the real facts before you bitch about how people live… or how about TRY living there for awhile and see what its like…. seriously leave the bullshit at the door and get educated…. I was a fan of Morrissey till he proved to me he was nothing but a brainless whiney b%tch. Why not go for a good cause like WAR, Bear dancers, and other things that are inhumane, or ban the ones comming into this country doing it. Make the choice with your voice not your hate, due to you are no better than the baby sweal killers themselves.

  6. Well. Morrissey is from Urmston, a suburb of Manchester, UK. It’s the home of the biggest sewage factory in Europe. I dont mind him avoiding Canada if he can stay home, in the shit-land where he belongs to.
