It’s actually dangerous

New Zealand’s Broods have finally said out loud what many of us think on a daily basis – adulthood would be much easier if our parents were with us every day. Please, sometime help us figure out what we’re doing with our lives! Sleepless nights aside, the band’s latest single, Mother and Father, features a simplistic and impassioned black and white music video that accompanies the band’s quarter-life crisis anthem.
The brother and sister duo made up of Georgia and Caleb Notts have been enjoying a break-out summer, performing Mother and Father earlier this week on Late Night With Seth Meyers and announcing Evergreen as the official title of their debut album.
The band has also scored the opening gig for Sam Smith on his North American tour dates this fall, a move that will definitely garner some much-deserved recognition for the Nott siblings.
Four tracks from Evergreen are already available on iTunes, including previous singles Bridges and L.A.F., with the full album set to be released on October 7.
Check out Mother and Father below and be sure to catch Broods on tour this fall.
