Mother’s Day Mishaps

May 15th, 2007

So Sunday was Mother’s Day…and since my mom lives in Singapore, unfortunately all she got was a phone call. I should having really sent a card a week ago, or a gift or something and I meant to but you know how it goes…I’m so disorganized, next thing you know it’s Mothers Day and I’m going to get a phone card. God know she deserves a lot more than that, she the BEST mom ever. I felt guilty all day!

And I think for that “the Mother God” punished me…I went to go and see my grandma on Sunday as well as my second mom “Mrs. Scherer”, but I got in my car to leave only to realize that I had left my lights on and my battery was dead…I got a boost and went about my way…and just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse I got a flat tire on the highway. Yes, a flat tire on the highway. And I had to get my lazy (already late) ass out and put on my spare.

Let’s just say I wasn’t a happy camper, and I’ll selling the car. So if you’re looking, holla!
