A first-time award will be presented at the 2010 EMAs: the Global Icon Award. The first recipient will be Bon Jovi. Blasting our speakers since 1983 they’ve sold over 125 million albums worldwide and played in over 50 countries. If that’s not a global icon, I don’t’ know what is.

JUSTIN BIEBER TAKES OVER THE INTERNET

THE BAD BOYS OF MTV

Pauly D of Jersey Shore: I do not need to introduce him. He’s got it all and he knows how to flaunt it. He’ll be joined by other MTV bad boys Johnny Knoxville – the man you can’t knock down; and The Dudesons – aka Jacka** 2.0. With these guys anything goes (as you can tell by their shows) so in Europe all bets are off! I’ll bet they’ll be presenting more that just a few nominees when they get on stage.

ANTICIPATED PERFORMANCES:

Your wish has come true: you will be seeing a wicked rendition of B.o.B. singing Airplanes along with Paramore’s Hayley Williams. But anything goes in Europe so expect a performance you would never see here in North America!

Plan B is a popular English singer, rapper, actor, director – you name it, he’s done it. We’ve got all the deets on why he’s taking the music industry by storm right HERE on Much.

And one of our classic bad boys is taking the stage: Kid Rock! This guy’s been rocking out since the 90s so he’s no stranger to Europe, stages, or wild parties.

MTV SPECIAL CORRESPONDANT:

On top of a kick-a** show, an online host, and a slew of celebrity presenters and performers, MTV will also have a pair of eyes and ears on the ground as well. Cobra Starship‘s Gabe Saporta has already landed in Madrid and will be there throughout the weekend to deliver the goods during the show.
