Movies? Haven’t seen anything lately…but i’m going to see ‘The Last Waltz’ (which is being re-released) with my friend Katie tomorrow night. if you wanna know about where the music you listen to comes from, I highly suggest this film.

Speaking movies, well kinda…there’s this abandoned store I pass everyday as I walk to work (right beside my fave place to rent movies) and the sign reminded me of the old Richard Simmons tv show ‘Dreammaker’ . I think I might be one of the few people who remembers that show, where he used to run around in those little gym shorts making peoples dreams come true. Then at the end of the show he’d give everyone huge gift baskets.(I remember one episode where some screaming girls got to meet The Moffatts and then got a gift basket with Moffatts towels. It was weird.).

I can only assume that following the demise of the ‘Dreammaker’ show, Simmons decided to open this store and sell the aforementioned gift baskets… guess making dreams come true just isn’t easy. Oh well, at least he still has his movie career.
