MTV will air DJ AM’s documentary about drug addiction.

The network announced today that the eight-episode series called Gone Too Far will premiere Monday, October 12th.

The show follows the late DJ working with real-life addicts and their families, helping them battle their addiction.

AM finished the series just three days before he died of an accidental overdose on August 28th, 2009.

A statement released by MTV said: “It is our hope through airing this show that people will get to see the side of Adam that we knew and loved, not just the celebrity DJ, but the honest and caring person who gave so much of himself to help others.”
