Hailing from Australia, pop rock experimental artist Gotye became an overnight success eight years in the making with the wildly successful track Somebody That I Used To Know. While in Toronto on a press tour for his latest album Making Mirrors, we sat down with Gotye frontman Wally (the name Gotye is a phonetic interpretation of the French pronunciation of Wally’s name) to talk about the success of Somebody That I Used To Know, including its cover by Canadian band Walk Off The Earth, which landed the group on Ellen.
