Toronto’s North By Northeast is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and the city-wide festival just continues to grow and expand to new, exciting venues. One of this year’s most unique experiences will take place on a TTC streetcar. That’s right, a moving streetcar.
MiO and NXNE have teamed up to takeover a Queen Street West streetcar, called a MiO Squirtcar, and Much’s very own Liz Trinnear will be there live on Saturday June 21 to take in performances by Dragonette, Down With Webster’s Camm Hunter, D-Sisive, Rich Kidd and Wintersleep between the times of 8:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m.. The streetcar will run between McCaul Street and Dufferin Street on Queen West, making two stops along the way to pick up and drop off artists and guests. The MiO Squirtcar will also be running on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
You will need a NXNE wristband to attend this event, but fear not you don’t have one: Much is giving you a chance to win a pair of wristbands! Just simply enter the contest below for your chance at one of five pairs of NXNE wristbands, which will not only gain you access to the MiO Squirtcar, but also hundreds of other music events!Tweet
