MuchAXS: Timbaland & Young Love

Two new videos are up on MuchAXS that are worth talking about.

First: Apologize (Remix) by OneRepublic Feat. Timbaland

In the span of one week, this song has assaulted all my senses. I hear it everywhere. I swear it’s always on the radio when my alarm goes off every morning, I’ve heard it in various restaurants, friends have forwarded the video to me from various online sites, and thus it has been stuck in my head non-stop.

The song is decent, but what I don’t understand is what Timbaland has to do with it. His “remix” version is not much different than the original, except it maybe sounds a bit cleaner. But in this vid, all he does is sit there not unlike Jabba the Hut and does the same heard-it-before “hey!” that he did for Nelly Furtado. Has Timbaland finally run out of ideas?

Second: Too Young To Fight It by Young Love

I love Young Love and I’m glad to see him getting some play. He’s just so damn cool and this video proves it. Look at the hot sweaty mess that is that concert. I want to be there. Now.
