As always tons of new stuff this week, and since Jen’s gone, I get to tell you all about it!!!
First off, there’s a new Avril video for When You’re Gone! A very scary, dead “Goth”-ish Avril sitting at a piano, singing something about how when I’m gone, the pieces of her heart … blah blah blah… suffice to say, she misses me. We are shown a number of different situations where couples miss their significant others, a young couple torn apart by the girl’s b@#@$ of a mom, the slightly older couple torn apart by war, and an elderly man who desperately misses his deceased wife. That last one got to me a bit, and at breakfast this morning I told my GF that I hope I die first. She told me I’m a giant weirdo. Whatevs. Luckily, the video has a happy ending, and it’s not just because Avril stops singing. Check it out.

Have you ever wondered what kind of work goes into casting a video? The Joel Plaskett Emergency “Fashionable People” is shot as the audition, while Joel watches and gets loaded. “Wendy can you give me a look that you would see on a Persian carpet?” This song will be in my head all weekend!

There’s nothing I love more than good home grown old skool T-dot hip hop, and I present to you the “Abdominal Workout” because as the man sez “This is probably the most syllables than in any LP in your whole collection.”

Hey there’s new Ryan Adams video for “Two Hearts” online. I’m sure Jen will be happy, especially after the huge Ryan Adams Debacle.

What’s better than a new Air video? A new Air video with hot girl on girl action, even if you have to watch an interpretive dance video to see it. Just kidding. LOL. Check it out here.
