If you’re a student who is a music junkie then we have some great news for you! MuchMusic is looking for five music fans to give a cash scholarship to use in their preferred area of study! You don’t have to be a music major, but you do have to be majorly into music.
What would we do without music? What would comfort us when we’re down, soothe us when we’re scared, get our heart racing even more when we’re excited? How different would our memories be if music wasn’t there? You’ll always remember the song that was playing the first time you danced with your crush, the first time you drove a car, the first time you went to a concert. The music you listen to today will shape your memories forever and without music the soundtrack to our lives would be pretty quiet. We want to hear your thoughts on what music means to you!
Entering is as easy and fun as trying to guess Nicki Minaj’s next hairstyle. We only have two questions (I know, sooooo easy) and only one is mandatory!
Mandatory Question:
Facebook, Twitter — Social Media — you’re the generation that sparked this revolution and you’re using it every day. Tell us how you are using social media to listen to music, talk about tv shows, get your news, and specifically, tell us how we can use social media to improve our TV viewing experience.(max 500 words)
Optional Question:
If your life was like a program that is currently running on MuchMusic, what program would it be? Why? (max 100 words)
Head over to www.studentawards.com to apply. We can’t wait to read your submissions! Be creative, have fun and be you. And of course, make sure you’re listening to some killer tracks while you work. Check out more deets below!
