We’re ‘Running Back To You’ Osheaga, that is, next year of course! The Montreal Festival is officially over, which means we’re already counting down the days until next year.
The final day kicked off with Canadian act, Matt Mays, warming up the main stage for early festival risers, Chvrches had the crowd dancing before dinner time, Dublin based Irish rockers had them singing and for Lorde, they were in tears.
New Zealand singer-songwriter, Lorde was on the last leg of her current tour and not only did she promise fans a fun show, she even made it rain confetti (usually a tradition reserved for the final act). Arctic Monkeys headlined the show, opening with ‘Do I wanna Know’ with the band cast entirely in silhouette and continued to play hits from their latest album AM including, ‘Snap Out Of It,’ and ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?’
