My Confessions

August 11th, 2004

Maybe it’s the the fact that I not-so-secretly wish I could be as rad as Wendy, maybe it’s the fact that Usher was here yesterday - but suddenly I also feel the need to reveal some truths about my past. Here are my confessions:

Confession 1: In grade 8, I used to DJ our school dances. I purposely played ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ more than once because a boy I had a crush on used to wear a Nirvana t-shirt to school and I thought it would make him think I was cool.It didn’t. I also played ‘Good Vibrations’ by Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch more than once. That was just for me.

Confession 2: In grade 4 I took a whole bunch of JELLO packets from the cupboard and ate them on the bus on the way to school. One time I tried the same thing with pudding powder - which tasted really gross. Since then I have never eaten raw pudding.

Confession 3: I also have 3 piercings in one ear and 2 in the other but not because of the babysitters club books (Although I was an avid BSC reader and watched the Babysitters Club Movie with former VJ Bradford How about a month ago)

Confession 4: I think green olives are gross. I’m cool with the black ones and really into the sundried ones.

Confession 5: I went to see Vanilla Ice in concert when I was 11…and I’m actually kinda proud of it.
