My Date With… Justin Bieber

Megan was our lucky winner to spend a day in Toronto with J-Beebz! Watch le date go down tonight at 6:30pm ET, and for now read what she has to say about the experience!

My experience with this contest is something I will remember forever. When I entered my video, I never expected that so shortly after I would be in Toronto having the time of my life.

When I got the email saying that MuchMusic was coming to my house, I was pumped, but nervous! I had all my closest friends come and support me and we had a blast and it just got better when the cameras came. The devastating news came first, I lost. At that moment I was happy to have my friends to make feel better. But who needs friends when Tim Deegan in a white limo comes around the corner. Just kidding! He stepped out with a new letter in his hands: on it said, “My date with Justin Bieber” like the first, but this one had my town’s name on the back. Instantly I ripped it open and before I could finish reading it, all my friends were rejoicing and screaming, “Megan, you won!” Tons of tears shed, voices were lost, and it felt like ten days before we left to T.O.

As soon as we got in Toronto, it was one surprise after the next. First was getting our hair done at Marc Anthony, it turned out great! Next was a $500 (or more) shopping spree, we were able to get some awesome stuff. We went for some street meat, and then it was time to relax.

I could barely sleep the night. I was too excited for what surprise they were going to throw at us the next day. We walked outside the hotel to see a huge black limo, cameras, and screaming fans. I’ve never been so confused. I thought the fans were for Tim. Soon enough Justin stepped outside the limo, asking if I was ready for our date. My jaw immediately dropped and all I could do was scream.

So then I spent the day with the one and only Justin Bieber. We arrived at Playdium for the next surprise. We played some arcade games and went go-carting. Kelsy in last, Tim third, Justin second, and I was first. It was a close race and tons of fun. Of course there is a catch to every contest – I had to do something crazy when I met Justin and now was the time. I did a tumble from my years of gymnastics and it turned out great!

Mini-golf was next. Kelsy and Tim versus Justin and me. We decided that the losing team would sing for the camera. Of course, Justin and I lost, bad. So together Justin and I sang, “One Time”. Couple steps away we noticed the bungee trampolines. Kelsy and I were pumped, but Justin and Tim decided to sit that one out, they didn’t want to hurt their “family jewels.” That gave us a laugh. All of us decided that we were getting pretty hungry, so we went for Justin’s favorite, McDonalds. How romantic! Unfortunately for us, the limo couldn’t go though the drive thru. So Tim was stuck getting the food. After we ate, the date was done, and we went back to our hotels. Best date of my life, and I’ll be surprised if something tops it!
