Nas opens up about Kelis on new track ‘Bye Baby’

Rapper Nas finally opens up about his marriage and divorce to singer Kelis on his new single, Bye Baby. On the track, Nay raps over a soul sample of Guy’s Goodbye Love, singing “Why did we mess it up, we was friends, we had it all/Read on you don’t trust men, that was your daddy’s fault.”

Bye Baby is from Nas’ upcoming album Life is Good, out July 17, and is the rapper’s tenth album. Nas and Kelis were married from 2005 to 2009. The two divorced while Kelis was seven months pregnant with Nas’ child and he now pays for child support of their son, Knight.

Kelis is also rumoured to have a new album out sometime soon. Can’t wait to hear her response!
