Neon & Magnets = trendy statement accessory?

We’ve gone through Silly Bandz, jelly bracelets, and mood rings. Now we’ve got the Uno Magnetic by Luis Pons. The renowned architect/interior designer was “inspired by one of his first architectural project in Miami.” Sounds fancy enough.

The premise? According to the website, Uno “is an interactive, magnetic jewelry that can take the form of a necklace, bracelet, ring or anything imaginable.” It’s a creative DIY idea, but I’m not really sold on it. For one thing, the metal chain looks cheap.

Regardless, Uno is here, and they’re selling their product online. The single colour magnetic jewelry is $20, coming in a range of colours like gunmetal, white, fuschia and gold. The multi colour chains are $22, coming in a variety of colour mixes. Check them out here.
