Eleven years after the R n B singer’s tragic death, Aaliyah-producer Jeffery “J. Dub” Walker tweeted that a posthumous album with unreleased material may see the light of day this year. Though it’s now been deleted from Twitter, Walker tweeted on Monday “Just got great news today; the smash unreleased song called ‘Steady Ground’ I produced on #Aaliyah is gonna be on her upcoming album”.
Aaliyah’s third album was released one month before she and her entourage died in a plane crash after leaving a video shoot in the Bahamas for her music video to Rock The Boat on August 25, 2001Tweet
