New Bjork – “Earth Intruders”

I’ve heard Bjork‘s new single Earth Intruders lots on various online radio stations over the past few weeks and have been impatiently waiting for it to become legitly available for your listening pleasure so that I could finally blog about it. Here we go.

Have a listen – do you love it? I LOVE the tribal drums. I love the beat. I almost love the lyrics. I can’t wait to hear the album!

Bjork’s album Volta is out May 8, and here’s the cover!

Bjork wrote and produced the entire album herself, with help from lots of advisors, including Timbaland himself (who’s being credited with helping make this album her most ‘commercial’ and easily accessible yet).

After the album’s release she’s embarking on a monster world tour that’ll last a year and half, and she’s already confirmed to play major festivals like Glastonbury, Coachella, Roskilde & Virgin Fest (Toronto date) with a touring band of nearly thirty musicians.
