In what is possibly my favourite relationship from the series, today we see Katniss and Cinna meet for the first time in a clip showing the Hunger Games tribute and her stylist discussing Katniss’ unveiling ceremony in the Capitol. Lenny Kravitz, who is the bad ass choice I hoped for to play Cinna, stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres show this week to premiere the clip from the film.
Ugh. So much coolness from these two. The Hunger Games hits theatres on March 23. May the odds be ever in your favour to get tickets opening weekend.
And just in case you weren’t already omigawd I looooove the Hunger Games more than anyone (no, I love them more than anyone!), Alliance Films has upped the Hunger Games awesomeness and partnered with Free The Children in Canada. Here are some deets on the studio’s partnership with Free The Children:
· The Hunger Games eBay Auction launched Tuesday, March 6 at 4:00 p.m. ET and closes Tuesday, March 13 at 4:00 p.m. ET
· People can bid on an all expense paid trip to the Canadian movie premiere in Toronto on March 19 as well as a number of limited edition The Hunger Games Fan Packs
· The expected talent in attendance at the Canadian premiere include Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Alexander Ludwig
· 100 per cent of net auction proceeds will support the domestic and global projects of Free The Children – the world’s largest network of children helping children through education
