New Gorillaz Video Takes Badassery to New Level

Funny, just three days ago I was discussing in depth the recent dearth of bad assery in our world today. Justin Bieber? Not badass. Simple Plan at the Olympic closing ceremonies? Also not badass. 10 best movie nominees at the Oscars? SO not badass.

People, we have a saviour: the new Gorillaz video.

Starring some serious cars, bandit cartoons, a magnum, high speed chasing and BRUCE WILLIS, this video is a must see (and I predict that you won’t be able to escape it, anyway).

I love how the video begins with this srrrrrrrs sexy car shot, real Death Proof meets Kill Bill [go to 5:22] meets Vanishing Point. It’s so gangster; even the goofy Gorillaz characters look cool and mean. But soon enough Bruce Willis shows up and you’re like, WHOA! Those cartoon nerds are a bunch of buffoons!! And Bruce grins at the camera, proceeding to take those suckaz down. It. Is. So. Great.
