When I finally realized that there were other Justin Timberlake songs in the universe besides “What Goes Around…Comes Around”, I was months behind the rest of the world. I mean, I had the album, but I just couldn’t STOP listening to that one song. One day as I was washing dishes (excellent for iPod quality time), I decided to listen to the whole JT album and HARK! The whole thing was good! The people who had spoken were RIGHT!

Alas, there was one song that was such a stand-out for me that I resorted back to the ol’ wash, rinse, repeat cycle of listening to one song over and over again. That song was “Love Stoned/I Think That She Knows”, and it made me cry partly metaphorical tears of joy. Then I made it my ringtone. Then I listened to it again.

Well galdarnit, there’s a video for it now, and you can watch it in AXS! Kind of looks like when you listen to music on Windows Media Player, and then it clears up at the end and JT does this little funny thing with his lips every time he says “stoned” and “knows” (see pic above). But the 2nd half of the song makes me want to float away on a marshmellow and cupcake cloud, so, who cares about the wonky lip. We’d all still tap that.
