We’ve been waiting for it and now we have it: a new Michael Jackson will finally be released this year.
A rep from the late King of Pop’s estate told Rolling Stone that the collection will feature ten unreleased songs. The material was found on hard drives, most of which is said to be recorded at the peak of MJ’s heyday in the 1980s.
According to Jackson’s manager Frank DiLeo, there are also over 100 “completed and unreleased songs” that include the likes of Akon, Will.i.am and Ne-Yo. As well, he added “there are a couple of songs we recorded for the Bad album that we had to cut that are just sensational.”
