New Movies Friday!

Oceans

This week at the box office we’ve got whales, losers and Lopez! What a smorgasbord of films!

Oceans: Mickey Mouse and his buds at Disney set out to discover the undiscovered in the five oceans that surround our world. The Mouse has more money than most countries, so I’m sure the film will be pretty impressive to see. The soundtrack features a duet by real-life couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato. Le sigh.

The Back Up Plan: Hopefully you have a back up plan for seeing a different movie tonight, because this thing is getting destroyed by critics. The trailer isn’t terrible and I’m sure if you’re a big rom com fan, it might be okay. Might. The film stars Jennifer Lopez and Alex O’Loughlin.

Losers: The film adaptation of the Vertigo comic about a team of mercenaries going up against the CIA stars Zoe Saldana, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Chris Evans. A funny action film with lots of good looking people – could be fun!
