New On DVD This Week

I am shocked — I like to think of myself as a “movie buff” of sorts, but I have not seen ANY of these movies…except for one: DIRTY DANCING!!!

Who HASN’T seen this ’80s masterpiece?! This movie had it all: summer retreats, Swayze’s swinging hips, Jennifer Grey’s pre-rhinoplastied snout, watermelons, high lifts, baby in the corner, watermelons, and everyone having the time of their lives. This 20th Anniversary Edition comes with plenty of extras such as deleted scenes, commentary, screen tests and much much more. I will definitely be adding this to my DVD collection. Hopefully Swayze and Grey get a cut of the royalties — they need it.
