New Radiohead Video: House Of Cards

July 15th, 2008

Last week I mentioned that Radiohead had been working on a new music video for the track House Of Cards without the use of video cameras. The idea left me scratching my head in pure confusion, but finally it all makes sense to me - the video has been released! Along with a Making Of!

Here is the video:

Then find out how they made it:

My favourite part is when the director, James Frost, says Radiohead “probably would be the only band that would actually take that kind of risk, of actually making a music video without cameras.” This is most likely a true statement. It seems Radiohead will give anything a go - I mean, have the Pussycat Dolls done a camera-less video lately? No, didn’t think so.

So what do you think: worth the risk?

  1. some of it is interesting, not too interesting that i’d watch it repeatedly, not sure what the risk involved is to decide whether it’s worth it as it’s just a music video

  2. First one is better
