New Weezer – It’s About Time!

It was in May 2005 when Weezer released their last album, Make Believe. There were a few good songs on it, but overall it was just okay at best. It’s definitely not in high rotation on my playlist, but I’m sure you all remember “Beverly Hills” and “We Are All On Drugs”.

With almost losing faith in the band, I’m glad that Weezer is FINALLY coming out with a new album in June, three years later!! This gives them a chance to redeem themselves. Rivers Cuomo describes this not yet titled album as “meaty, crunchy and melodic.” Let’s hope by that he means complete awesomeness like the Blue Album and Pinkerton. We shall wait and see.
