Words were exchanged. Egos were questioned. People quit. And now there’s a positive update. Putting Hayley Williams and Paramore behind him, Josh Farro is moving forward with another band.
Turns out the former guitarist for the band that toured with the likes of Jimmy Eat World and Bedouin Soundclash and created the hit song “Decode” for a little movie called Twilight has decided to hook-up with some high school buddies and form a new band.
Josh Farro hooked up with Van Beasley, Tyler Ward and Ryan Clark of the former band Cecil Adora. They apparently just starting hanging out, jamming music with each other and realized they had a cool sound when they put their talents together.
The result: a band called “Novel American“. Josh Farro goes on the record that he wasn’t sure he wanted to be in a band again, but decided they needed to chase this opportunity and see where it lead.
They aren’t planning anything too big at the moment. Novel American is set to perform at local venues around Tennessee and recording an EP. Besides that, they have no plans for the future as they want to focus on playing music together for music’s sake.
Josh Farro described the experience as: “We felt like we were in high school, we were all so giddy, and we still are, because everything is falling in place perfectly, and that first practice was great, and from then on, we’ve just been on cloud nine.”
