The more successful Whit became, the more her sweet girl persona rubbed off. When her 1992 film The Bodyguard (also starring Kevin Costner)became a box office and billboard success Whitney went from being a sweet fun-lovin’ gal to a full out diva! Shoot, if I sold 42 million records on just one album then I would be too! Suddenly, Whit-Whit was in demand. She was doing movies left, right and centre and was on the right path to Barbara Streisand like stardom…

BUT when you’re in showbiz AND married to Bobby Brown, you know that drugs and drama are only a sniff away. Here’s a rundown of incidents that lead to the end of Whitney’s career:

* Whitney and Bobby get caught with marijuana in 2000. Surprise, Suprise… NOT!
* Also in 2000, she was scheduled to perform at the Oscars but was FIRED by musical director/friend Burt Bacharach..
* Then, Whit appeared on a Michael Jackson special looking rail thin…So I see where Nicole Ritchie turned for inspiration…
* Her so-called love of her life was charged in 2003 of battery charges..Bobby = Real Wholesome Fella.
* Oh but things get better when there are rumours that the Every Woman has died of a drug overdose.. Fortunately, those weren’t true.
* 2006 rolls round and pictures are leaked to a gossip rag of Whit’s drug den.. YIKES!
* 2007 - Hard times on the financial front Whitney has to sell one of her $6 million dollar homes because of unpaid taxes.

Whitney Houston is the ultimate train-wreck.. Though, Lindsay Lohan is a close second..
