Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown release song, surprisingly I don’t hate it

Is this real life? The two people that have been disappointing me for a while (Nicki for her recent songs and Chris Brown for everything) have released a track together that is, dare I say, pretty dang good. Right By My Side will be Minaj’s second single following Starship from her album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, set to be released on April 2.

The collaboration between Minaj and Brown is a love song, with Minaj rapping a verse only at the end of the track and singing for the majority of the song. Minaj has stayed relatively quiet on what sound her sophomore album will take, telling MTV UK “You guys are gonna get the full composition and you’re gonna hear it and feel it and it’s gonna move you. Roman Reloaded is me in every sense of the word. I mean, every song makes me excited.”
