In 2012, it seems like it’s every female pop artists goal to out-wig one another. Undoubtedly, the reigning diva of doo’s is rapper Nicki Minaj, who out-wigs even herself in her new video for Starships, with over five wig changes throughout the island adventure vid. Landing her ‘starship’ on a tropical island, Minaj sports a variety of bikini’s with matching hair colours and dances her way through a number of scenes, bringing the relaxed locals to life with her upbeat track.

With her barely-there bikini’s, Minaj can be seen often holding herself in her small suits while dancing, going as far as to say herself that Starships “…may be too saucy for TV.” Who would have thought that a music video for a song called Starships would be racier than that for Stupid Hoe?

Considered the first official single from Minaj’s sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, Starships has spent two months on Billboards Top 100. Check out Nicki Minaj (all of Nicki Minaj) in her video for Starships below.
