Nicki Minaj’s ‘Stupid Hoe’ Video Banned On BET

Nicki Minaj’s video Stupid Hoe seems to be too much to handle for BET. The network apparently banned the Young Money female Mc’s video, saying it won’t air, but failed to give a reason for the decision. The video, directed by Hype Williams, features provocative lyrics and images, and has received over 20 million views on VEVO since it premiered on January 20.

“Can’t premiere on a network b/c its important that my art is not tampered with, or compromised prior to you viewing it for the 1st time,” said Minaj in response. Minaj joins the likes of Ciara’s Ride and Game’s Red nation as other artist videos that were also banned from BET.
