Brett, Cody, Janna, Tara, Gary, Julie, Jen, Eric. Plus we’ve got Nicole Ritchie, Pete Wentz, and Eve. It’s a star-studded line-up with all of our characters in on the action. Let’s get to it!
Plus, check out the show’s HQ here and a full gallery from episode five here!

This week on StyL’D, our five candidates plus the three senior stylists all have to work together on the same job. How’s that for competition!?!
Nicole Ritchie and Pete Wentz are launching a runaway show for their jewelry and clothing lines, and work directly with five junior stylists as they dress the models, and the musical performances, for the show.

Tara+Julie=bad times for all!
Julie takes Tara to dress the female models for the runway. However, before they even start their day, Julie takes Tara aside to discuss her relationship with Cody. In a nutshell – don’t’ be a rat, if you have beef, come to me first. And off to work they go! Tara manages to impress Julie with her pulls, but screws everything up the next day. She’s late for the show, fails to help Julie (Julie has to use Cody and Janna to help her out in the beginning), and then gets into a huge confrontation with her at the end of the day. Julie tells her in no uncertain terms if Tara was her real assistant, she’d be fired. Her main point – Tara wasn’t sorry or trying to make amends or even showing any remorse for practically screwing her over today.

Jen Rade takes Cody and Janna as they style the female models in Nicole Ritchie’s jewelry and the male models in Pete Wentz’s clothing line. Janna was about half a day late getting into this job. Why you ask? She was in court for allegedly assaulting someone in a bar fight! Little Janna isn’t so innocent any more, is she? However, she still doesn’t step it up against Cody. Cody gets to be the golden boy for the team, picking great out fits, and even puts together jewelry combos that impress Jen Rade. The team actually works well: an added bonus was working with Nicole Ritchie and Pete Wentz. The two creators of the accessories came in and worked with the stylists to fully complete the runway looks.

Eric takes Brett and Gary as they style singing groups The Academy is Job and Paradisco Girls for their performances. Brett has been dying to work on dressing a girl since the show began, and picks some really great pulls for the girls. Gary does a fantastic job as well, picking some great clothes too (and who didn’t love his directions to Brett: you look for some tops, I’ll look for some bottoms! Hahahahahaha!!). However, when it came time to dress the models, Eric chose Gary (reason unknown…) to dress the women, and left Brett to dress the men (and we all saw how much that pissed off Brett – but he still held his chin up and had a good time. A great guy, that one!).

They all got to watch the runway show, and enjoy a performance by Eve. Overall, it seemed the senior stylists were very impressed with the guys, but were very disappointed with the girls. What did you think?
This week’s rankings: Brett, Gary, Cody, Janna, Tara.
