We kinda know what is happening on tonight’s Awkward. but we do know that next week’s episode is gonna be HUGE. Why? Because Nikki DeLoach who plays Jenna’s mother Lacey has revealed a few things about the August 30 episode.

Sitting with The Hollywood Reporter, Nikki explained, “One, Jenna finally makes a choice [between Jake and Matty], and two, all is revealed about why Lacey wrote the characterization [letter]… All that happens in the episode. Even though Jenna makes a choice, it doesn’t mean that all is resolved.” Nikki also talked about Lacey’s development in the series explaining, “”One thing I do know for sure is that Lacey chose Kevin… Whether Kevin will choose her, the audience will have to wait and see. Lacey’s not going to stop fighting for her marriage… Her most important thing is repairing her relationship with Jenna, which by the way, is still not healed as far as the confrontation goes.”
