Fefe Dobson has grown up in front of us throughout the years.

In 2003 — that’s more than a decade ago! — Dobson released her debut, self-titled album which featured the hit song, Bye Bye Boyfriend.

This would be Dobson’s first entry into the Much Countdown, the first of 14!

Since her humble beginnings, Dobson has released three albums and her song Can’t Breathe even topped our Countdown back in 2011 making it the pop star’s most successful video to date.

Dobson’s latest single In Better Hands has just entered the Countdown, but it’s quickly climbing the charts.

These aren’t her only hits, though. Dobson has also lent her song writing skills to other artists such as Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.

And she appeared on an updated version of K’Naan’s big hit Wavin’ Flag, which was part of the Canadian All-Star Benefit Single For Haiti.

Dobson has also been very outspoken about the hardships of being in the music industry, recently talking to M3 about loneliness and racism.

But no matter what hurdles get in Fefe Dobson’s way, she perseveres and leaps over them with a confidence and assertiveness about herself. And that is why we want to celebrate the music and career of Fefe Dobson, one of Canada’s most important pop stars today.
