No Simpsons and No Reruns Make Wendy Something Something

What the!!! I’ve been watching syndicated Simpsons episodes on CBC for as long as I can remember – but now an era of quotable quotes has ended for the Canadian Broadcast Corporation. Yup – no more Simpsons on CBC. Go crazy?! Don’t mind if I do!!

Anyway, this comes on the heels of the company’s plans to cut around 800 jobs. They’ll also be cutting the Martha Stewart Show (but HOW will I learn how to cut flowers?!) and order fewer episodes of Canadian shows like Little Mosque on the Prairie. Also the “end of some sports programming including Toronto Blue Jays games” – not sure if that means all games. If so, that’s just crazy. The economy is killing tradition!
