Not A Poet, And I Know It

In anticipation of this Saturday’s Elbow performance at the Bright Lights Festival (!!!), Chromewaves is holding an Elbow contest to win an autographed copy of their new album, Leaders Of The Free World. Being the diehard Elbow fan that I am, I naturally had to enter, but little did I know that I’d have to flex my haiku-writing muscles to do it. Uh, anyway, here’s the result:

Guy Garvey’s vocals
Dripping down like warm honey
Feed my Elbow thirst
